Velvet by Art Gallery Fabrics: New Fabric and Sewing Projects

The Velvet collection, designed by Amy Sinibaldi for Art Gallery Fabrics, has been inspired by the luxury of being at home, and how you get to be surrounded by your loved ones and your trinkets. This collection is a painterly floral one, in an opulent colourway of warm reds, soft yellows and creamy pinks. Don't be confused by the name though as these are all printed on Art Gallery Fabric's premium OEKO-TEX certified cotton.

Our selection of Velvet fabrics are  also available as a bundle.

This Market Bag designed by Sharon Holland has been made using  Jasmine Mellow. We can imagine loading this up with snacks, a towel and some sun screen for our next beach day. If you would like to add this to your Summer bag range the tutorial is free.

Clutch Purses

These cute clutch purses have been made using a combination of  Jasmine Mellow and Olivia Dulcet.

Fabric Basket Bins

Jasmine Soulful Woodcut Sunrise Olivia Celeste

Velvet looks amazing as fabric basket bins. Fabric basket bins are really useful for storing sewing supplies, stationary, and even fabric scraps in your sewing area. If you would like to make your own you can find the  free pattern by Treasurie on their blog.

Quilt Blocks

Velvet Collection designed by Amy Sinibaldi for Art Gallery Fabrics

Last but not least, the Velvet collection looks gorgeous as a quilt.  Combined with complimentary solids, you can really draw out the florals from this collection. Drape a quilt made of Velvet over an armchair for a cosy look, or go large and create a plush bed throw instead. Whatever you choose to do we have you covered.
