BJORN BEAR QUILT AND PILLOW PATTERN
Use your favourite fat quarters to make adorable bear blocks using conventional patchwork techniques - no paper piecing! The Bjorn Bear pattern includes instructions for two quilt sizes and a quilted pillow cover featuring 12" x 13" patchwork bear blocks. All fabric is rotary cut and sewn together using conventional patchwork piecing. The pattern also includes a full-size glasses pattern that you can use to make a raw-edge appliqué for one or more of your blocks.
The pattern also includes a diagram and chart that shows all of the pieces needed to make each block. You can use this as a reference while making the pattern projects, or as a guide for making individual blocks and scrappy projects. Bjorn Bear blocks include small pieces, but the pattern will walk you through the process of sewing them with both diagrams and written instructions for each step.
