Perfect Picnic Quilt

Starting on Monday 20th June, Ruby Star Society are hosting a sewalong over on their Instagram where they will be making the super-easy buffalo-plaid-style Perfect Picnic quilt. This is a throw size quilt that measures 67.5" x 67.5" (171.5cm x 171.5cm).

Completely free to get your hands on, and perfect for beginners, this is your moment to get involved with your first quilt sewalong.  Download the Perfect Picnic Quilt Pattern for free here.

To make getting involved even easier for you, we have created a selection of kits to choose from. Each kit contains all the fabric you will need for the front of the quilt plus the binding. A printed copy of the Perfect Picnic Quilt pattern will be included with the kit too!

Please note that the backing fabric and wadding IS NOT included but if you would like to order a backing fabric to go with your kit you will need to order 4.25m of your chosen fabric. Feel free to contact us for guidance.

Sewing Schedule

Every Monday from 20th June Ruby Star Society will be posting updates that you will need to follow. The schedule is as follows:

June 20th: Cut fabric

June 27th: Make Blocks 2, 3 & 4 or Rows 2

July 5th: Make Blocks 1 or Rows 1

July 11th: Catch up week

July 18th: Assemble top
