Is your fabric 100% cotton?
Yes, all our modern patchwork and quilting fabrics are 100% cotton but sometimes we stock cotton/linen blends too. 100% cotton is the best fabric for quilting.
Do you sell fabric by the metre?
We sell fabric by the ¼ metre, so the smallest amount of fabric you can buy is a fat quarter. Anything over a fat quarter will be cut as one continuous piece.
Can I get free delivery?
Yes, all UK customers get free delivery. Simply choose the Royal Mail 2nd Class shipping option at checkout. Royal Mail 1st Class is also available.
Can I buy fabric if I don’t live in the UK?
Yes, anyone can buy fabric from our online fabric shop. Please read our Shopping Guide to find out your location’s shipping costs.
Do you have a physical shop I can visit?
No, we are only an online fabric shop. However, if you would like to buy fabrics in person, stop by and say hello at one of the events we will be attending.
Do you sell fabric wholesale?
No, we don’t sell fabric wholesale but if you are a small UK business that would like to make regular large purchases, contact us to discuss a discount.
Do you do fabric samples?
Yes, you can buy fabric samples. Fabric samples are 50p each and measure approximately 7cm x 15cm. Fabric samples are the best way to find out how a fabric looks and feels.
Do you do gift certificates?
Yes, we do gift certificates. Gift certificates are a thoughtful present for any fabric lover. Simply enter the amount you would like to gift them and enter the email address you would like the gift certificate sent to.
Can I collect loyalty points?
Yes, we have a Rewards Club where you can exchange points for vouchers to spend in our online fabric shop. All you need to do is make an account. As long as you are logged in, you will earn points every time you buy fabric.
What does GSM mean?
GSM means Grams per Square Metre and refers to the weight of the fabric. Our quilting cotton fabrics vary between 115gsm and 145gsm. For more information, please read How to Buy Quality Quilting Fabric Online.
What is the thread count?
The thread count is the number of threads woven into one square inch of fabric. The tighter the weave, the higher the thread count. A high thread count can be a good indicator of fabric quality, structure, and strength.
